Southwalk council climate action plan
I worked on a service design project with Southwark Council’s Climate Emergency Department to help explore how climate-action work across the council could be made more visible, reportable and actionable.
I designed and tested prototypes for a climate-impact reporting tool, building on wider service design work that mapped climate-action activity across departments, teams and policy priority areas.
The project was concerned with a common challenge in public-sector transformation: important work was happening across the organisation, but it was difficult to see how individual projects related to wider strategic commitments. The prototype helped explore how council teams might self-report climate-impact work in a way that supported organisational learning, accountability and coordination.
